FAQs:
How does the payment plan option work?
We understand that a one-time lump sum payment can be challenging for some, so to make our program more accessible, we have a payment plan option. The payment plan allows you to enroll in the program by making six monthly payments while still providing you access to the program, just as if you paid the full amount upfront. The payments are automatically deducted from your credit card each month and cannot be canceled once started. After your six payments are complete, no further charges will be made, and you will continue to have lifetime access to the program.
What is the best tier for me?
Builder is ideal if you want access to the core 365 Days to FIRE experience including the curriculum, Q&As, accountability groups, book club, community, and Portugal conference access.
Accelerator is best for members who want additional accountability, deeper learning, and more opportunities to engage with the community throughout the year through workshops, WhatsApp, priority registration, and guest privileges at Portugal events.
Capital Strategist is designed for members who want the highest level of access, interaction, and personalized support. In addition to everything included in Accelerator, Capital Strategists receive mastermind sessions, office hours, a private one-on-one session with us, an exclusive gathering in Portugal, and additional guest privileges at the Portugal events.
I've already taken the program. How will it be different if I take it again?
No two years are exactly the same. In 2027, you'll experience new workshops, new Q&A discussions, new book club conversations, updated resources, new discussions at our meetups and conference, and a new group of members bringing fresh perspectives and experiences to the community.
We've also introduced three new membership tiers with different benefits at each level. In addition, Capital Strategist members will receive access to our new F.I.R.E. Plan: Advanced Optimization Guides & Actions, which focuses on advanced weekly implementation tasks designed to help members optimize and accelerate their progress toward financial independence.
Many returning members find that revisiting the program helps them stay focused, stay accountable, and continue making meaningful progress toward their financial goals.
As a Capital Strategist member, when can I sign up for my one-on-one session with you?
Capital Strategist members will receive information about scheduling their one-on-one session after the program begins in 2027. Sessions will be available throughout the year, and members will be able to select from available dates and times on a first-come, first-served basis.
Members on the payment plan may schedule their session in advance; however, the session itself cannot take place until all six payments have been completed.
Is this program similar to your other courses?
No! This program is one-of-a-kind and unlike any of our other courses. In fact, this program is not a course at all! Unlike our courses, which provide 4+ hours of pre-recorded video instruction, this 365 Day F.I.R.E. Program is not focused on teaching you something (per se). This program is focused on getting you to take action on your F.I.R.E. journey and for you to be able to interact with us live. Of course, if you have questions, you can always ask them in our monthly one-hour live Q&A sessions or if you are enrolled in the Capital strategist plan, you can also ask your questions during our office hours and/or your one-on-one call with us!
Who is this program for?
This program is designed for anyone interested in pursuing financial independence and retiring early (or just financial independence - without the “retiring early” component)! If you haven’t started pursuing F.I.R.E. but you’re interested in getting started, if you’re midway through your F.I.R.E. journey, or if you’re at the tail end of your journey - this program is for you!
What if I’m a non-U.S. citizen?
If you’re not a U.S. citizen, we think you’ll still find this F.I.R.E. Program beneficial! In fact, we have a lot of international participants in our 2022, 2023, 2024, 2025, an 2026 classes (including people from Portugal, Brazil, Spain, Australia, Canada, Ghana, Colombia, the Netherlands . . . and more)!
The concept of F.I.R.E, and much of the program is applicable to everyone. Some of the daily tasks may refer to tools, options, tax strategies, and investments available only to people who can invest in the United States stock market. However, F.I.R.E. is more than just investing in the stock market - and we cover that “more” part in all of our other daily tasks and Q&As! Because of this, there are large portions of the program that are applicable to anyone in the world. That’s why we think anyone anywhere in the world can benefit from this program. If you have any specific questions about applicability, feel free to reach out to us!
Am I required to complete all of the tasks to take part in this program?
No! We provide you with a task to complete for every single day of the year, which means we have 365 tasks for you! We know things can get pretty hectic throughout the year. So, it’s okay if you miss some tasks or if you wait a bit before you complete them. In fact, it’s possible that you’ve already completed some of the tasks prior to joining the program or that some of the tasks don’t apply to your situation. If that’s the case, consider it a day off . . . OR . . . pick another task listed that month and do it twice! To be clear, you do not have to complete all the tasks to take part in this program. However, we believe that the more you commit yourself to the program (including the more daily tasks that you complete), the more you’ll get out of the program!
I’m pretty busy. How much time should I expect to spend on this program?
Some daily tasks can take as little as five minutes. Other tasks can take up to an hour (or more). The time it takes for you to complete each daily task really depends on the daily task and whether the task is completely new to you. On average, you should expect to set aside roughly thirty minutes a day for each task.
How long will I have access to the program?
This program takes place from January 1, 2027 through December 31, 2027. You will have full lifetime access to the daily tasks, recorded live Q&As, recorded book club meetings, Facebook group, and resources. However, after December 31, 2027, you will no longer have access to us.
Do I need a Facebook or WhatsApp account to participate in the program?
No. The program material, handouts, downloads, and live Q&As (and recordings of the Live Q&As) will not be hosted on Facebook or WhatsApp. Facebook and WhatsApp will be used for those people that want to become more acquainted with other program participants. Accordingly, you are not required to have a Facebook or WhatsApp account in order to participate in the program.
Should I expect to reach F.I.R.E. by the end of this 365 day program?
You should not expect to reach F.I.R.E. by the end of this program. There are too many factors related to if (or when) you will reach F.I.R.E. that it wouldn’t be accurate to suggest that you could reach F.I.R.E. in 365 days because of this program. In other words, this program is not designed to get you to F.I.R.E. in 365 days. Instead, this program is designed to help you take actions to make, save, and invest more money so that you can get you closer to your F.I.R.E. goals.
What if I miss a monthly Live Q&A, Book Club, Workshop or Mastermind?
If you can’t attend - don’t worry! They’ll be recorded and you can watch them later!
I’m excited about the meet-ups! Does the cost of the program include airfare and lodging?
No. Everyone in the program is invited to attend the meet-ups in Portugal. However, everyone is also responsible for their own travel and accommodations.
Do you offer refunds?
